The Country ADR Investment system is an application of the logic developed by our Country Rotation System. Investment systems have severe limitations and we offer this one because it has been profitable over the last two years, and has been giving good advice over the last year.
Do not make investment decisions solely on the buy and sell signals of this system. We display this information on countries and ADRs only as an additional source of information, and to show the current sentiment for that country and its ADRs.
History of StocksAbroad.com's Country Rotation System: Several years back Merrill Lynch Asia circulated a newsletter which discussed a country rotation system which generates buy and sell signals in different countries.
The idea is that if the system generates a buy signal in India, you move your money into India. When it generates a sell in India, and a buy signal in Japan, you move your money out of India and into Japan.
StocksAbroad.com has been experimenting and modifying such a system, and we find that it has been very profitable over several years.
All investment systems have severe limitations. None work all the time. This system works well when a country is in a trend, but not well when the stock markets of the country are range bound.
