End of Year Summary for 2009
Anticipating that the world economy is going to recover, stock markets have risen in spectacular fashion. The U.S. S&P500 rose 20 pct. Nevertheless, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 8 pct for the decade.

Global Stocks
Stocks Latin American and Asian stocks stand out. Argentina's Merval soared 103 pct, and Brazil's Bovespa leaped ahead 70 pct. China and India also rose dramatically, 80 pct and 75 pct., respectively.
