StocksAbroad.com was designed and created by Terry Hogan. He continues to manage and build this website.

Dr. Hogan taught economics and finance for 20 years at the university level. Then he ran a computer training and consulting business for 9 years. Since those activities he has been a full-time investor for five years. He has a Ph. D. in economics from the University of California in Berkeley.

He has had a long term interest in China, India, Japan, and Latin America as a specialist in economic development and international economics.

Combining his economics, finance, and computing interests led him, quite naturally, to develop a web site focusing on financial markets in these countries.

So here it is, StocksAbroad.com, with expectations of much more development. His intent is to create a site that he would find useful as an investor, thinking about investing in stocks in China, India, Japan, and Latin America, or as an investor already investing in these countries. Let us hope that we are successful.

We have been inspired by numerous sites and, in the future, will name them, and, with their permission, will provide links, so that you can also benefit from their great offerings.
